Norbert T. Danback, 93,of Forked River died Sunday, September 6th peacefully at home following a lengthy illness.

Predeceased by his son Michael, he leaves his loving wife, Josephine (Gozzi) Danback of 71 years. His sons, Richard (Maryann); Gary (Barbara); Christopher (Marie). Beloved Grandchildren; Scott, Mark (Jodi), Jason (Rosemary), Jillian McGhan (Michael), Katelyn Bryndza (John), Ashley, Matthew, Alexa and Casey Danback. Beloved Great-Grandchildren; Jake; Emma; Olivia; Reese and Cole Danback.

A Navy veteran, he served as an aviation ordnance man in World War II and the Korean War.   Formerly of Bayonne, NJ, he served on the Bayonne Fire Department from 1950 until his retirement in 1985.
