John Burnett, 76, of Forked River, passed away on February 9, 2017, peacefully at home with his family. 

He was born to the late John and Jessie Burnett on May 10, 1940 in Dover, NJ.

He served in the Army and was stationed in Alaska and California. He also worked as an electrician until he became disabled  in 1997.

John is survived by his only child Jackie Arias of Forked River, his three grandchildren, Tianna Arias, Michelle Arias and Adam Arias, and his great-grandson Connor Arias.
