Hazel R. Russo, age 96, of Naples, FL, died Sunday November 16, 2014. Mrs. Russo was born in Bayonne, NJ, living in Cranford & Basking Ridge before moving to the Ocean County area in 1997, then most recently moving to Naples Florida. She worked as a nurse at Bayonne Hospital and Overlook Hospital, Summit, retiring in 1983. She was a very active member of the Forked River Methodist Church and volunteered at the Lakewood Soup Kitchen

Surviving are two sons Barry Fernandez of Tenn., Ronald Fernandez of California, a daughter Jill Dickerson of New Jersey, six grandchildren, three best friends Linda Conners, Madison, NJ, Laurie Grieb and Carol Dlouhy of Naples, FL

Graveside service will be 11 am Tuesday November 25, 2014 at Good Luck Cemetery, Lanoka Harbor. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Layton’s Home For Funerals, Forked River.
