Giuseppe Serino, age 87, of Forked River, died Saturday July 26, 2014 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Mr. Serino retired in 1991 as a grounds keeper with the City of East Orange, NJ.

He was born in Gioia-Del-Colle, Italy, coming to the United States in October 1967, living in East Orange, Irvington and Boonton before moving to Forked River in 1991.

Surviving is his wife of 62 years Maria; three daughters Adele Maydish, Barnegat, NJ, Emma Serino, Leavenworth, Washington, Francesca Rusak, Lanoka Harbor; two brothers Saverio Netti, Vito Netti, Angelina Netti and Isabella Netti all of Italy; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 at the Layton’s Home For Funerals, Relatives and friends may arrive Wednesday morning at 830 am. A funeral mass will be celebrated 930 am at the Church of Saint Pius X. Entombment will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Stafford Township.
