Dolores E. Heller, age 87, of Forked River, NJ, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at home.

Born in Newark, NJ, living in South Orange and South Plainfield before moving to the Pheasant Run Community of Forked River in 1985.

 Mrs. Heller is predeceased by her husband, Fred Heller, in 2007.

Surviving are  her children, Mary Beth Dittus, Estelle Manor, NJ, Barbara Cross, Freehold, Paul Heller, Monmouth Junction, and Kathryn Heller Schwartz, Lanoka Harbor; three brothers, Phillip Wilderotter, Oakhurst, Robert Wilderotter, Morristown, Donald Wilderotter, Brick; two sisters, Rita Donahue, Maryland and Jeanne Holak, Arizona; Nine grandchildren; and two-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Layton's Home For Funerals, (609) 971-6800, 250 W. Lacey Road, Forked River, Lacey.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 Noon at Saint Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Forked River, following the visitation at the funeral home.  Interment at Brigadier General William C Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
