It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of William J Eichler, 85, of Barnegat on February 8, 2022. On March 20, 1936, William was born to his parents Leonard and Marion Eichler of Jersey City, NJ.
William graduated from Bayonne High School and went on to study at Georgia Tech. After graduating he worked at International Paper as a Logistics Manager covering three different states. He then returned to work at Costco in Manahawkin where he worked for another 10 years before retiring again.
In 1954 he met his future wife Beverly at the Bayonne Roller Rink. They went on to have two children Elizabeth (Lisa) Lewis and Laura Maffei.
Among many of his hobbies He was an enthusiastic NY Giant fan, loved to garden and dance with his wife. He loved fiercely and deeply, and we take comfort in knowing that William is now at peace surrounded by light.
