Virginia (Ginny) Kupits passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a brief illness. Born on June 16,1938 in Newark, NJ, she spent most of her childhood in Nutley, NJ and Clifton , NJ. After graduating from Belleville High School in 1956, she worked as secretary for the Herald News before marrying in 1963.
In 1973, she moved with her family to Forked River. She worked many years as a cashier for Foodtown Stores on Lacey Road. After retiring, she moved to Whiting to be closer to her three sisters. Her favorite place to be was the library. She loved history, especially English and French history. She was a wonderful cook and loved animals especially her beloved Shih Tzu Benny. Deeply religious, she attended mass at Elizabeth Seton church in Whiting.
She is survived by her daughter Aprile, son Kevin, grandson Adam and sisters Lillian and Joan.
