Vince was born October 5,1940 to John and Rose Navarro in Elizabeth, NJ. He grew up in Linden, NJ and after high school continued his education at Seton Hall University graduating in 1962 receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration followed by an AAS in Chemistry.
After graduating from Seton Hall, Vince enlisted in the United States Air Force Reserves and was called to active duty in order to train as an aircraft mechanic and he held the rank of Airman. After completing his training, Vince was released from active duty and was assigned to the Air Force Reserve unit at McGuire Air Force Base until July 1, 1968, when he was Honorably Discharged at the rank of Airman First Class.
In 1963, Vince married his first wife June. His charismatic personality won her over and that grew into a loving marriage for 26 years & 3 children until her passing in 1990. June's devotion to being a mother allowed Vince to continue his successful 30-year career in chemical sales at Union Carbide. Vince's passion & work ethic led him to excel in his career starting as a sales representative and rising to the level of VP. Vince & June relocated from NJ to Charlotte, NC, and Tampa FL, where along the way they met new neighbors who became part of their extended family. In 1972 they returned to NJ where Vince and June settled to raise their children.
Vince and Dolores married in 1993. Shortly after, Vince retired from Union Carbide. They bought their dream home on the water in Bayville, NJ where they created lasting memories with family and friends boating, fishing, eating and golfing. Vince and Dolores were avid travelers visiting several European countries and multiple islands in the Caribbean. They relocated to Forked River three years ago. What was most important for them was the love they had for each other and spending time with their loving family and dear friends.
We remember Vince for his kindness, compassion, humor, and most of all his love.
