Perfect Gentleman, Entrepreneur

Vincent was born in Fairmont, West Virginia and raised in the Roseville Section of Newark, NJ where he was a proud graduate of Barringer High School, dabbled playing the saxophone and was parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church.   He wed his soulmate, best friend and love of his life, Claire Marie (Kane) 54 years ago.  For more than 40 years they lived in Colonia, N.J. then moved to Forked River where he was an avid boater and fully enjoyed the fullness of his busy life soothed by nature’s bucolic beauty of their lagoon home.  He was a devoted parishioner of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church.

Vincent was a successful entrepreneur and the founder of Avenel Pallet with a phenomenal and very determined work ethic.  He was generous and kindhearted leaving his legacy of love, peace, kindness, compassion and respect for all. He was committed to strong family values and lifelong friends.  We will keep these remarkable memories etched in our hearts forever.

We are heartbroken to lose his presence in our lives.  We mourn the loss of an amazing and loving man, but remain grateful and blessed to have been a part of Vinnie’s dignified life.

Vincent was predeceased by his parents, Vincent James Colonna Sr. and Lucy (Tartel) Colonna.

He leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his beloved wife Claire Marie (Kane) Colonna, the children he adored, Jennifer Gesek and her husband Andrew of  North Wales, PA, Steven and his wife Amy Quick Colonna of Mullica Hill N.J.; Michael (fiancée Karen Coloaso) of Wall N.J., and his five precious grandchildren, Kayla Damitz, Alyssa, Nicholas, Andrew and Brendon and his loving brother John Louis Colonna of Mount Laurel with many special nephews and nieces.  Vincent will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
