Thomas J. Pollaro, Jr.

Thomas J. Pollaro Jr. passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025 surrounded by his family.  He served proudly in the United States Army and had a long and successful career as a service technician for Sears & Roebuck.  Upon retirement, he and his wife Oralee moved to Forked River.  He enjoyed spending time and greeting customers with a big smile and lots of conversations at the family business.  He loved hot dogs, cheesecake and his furry companion, Mia. He loved music and especially loved to dance.   He was a strong and generous man and always made sure his family was taken care of and always offered his help to others.  

Thomas is predeceased by his wife, Oralee, his mother, Frances(nee Rigilosi), his father, Thomas and his brother, John.

Thomas is survived by his daughter, Lisa and her husband Peter(Sansevere), his son, Nicholas and his wife Dena. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kayla, Jarod and Jessica and his brother Anthony.

Viewing will be on Friday, September 19 from 2:00 - 6:00pm at Layton's Home For Funerals.  A mass will be held at Church of Saint Pius X on Saturday, September 20 at 9:30 am.

Thomas will be forever and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
