Stephen M Jordan

Stephen M. Jordan, 70, of the Whiting section of Manchester Township, suddenly passed away on, January 28, 2025.

Steve was born on April 16, 1954, to Fredrick and Joan Jordan in Brooklyn NY.  They relocated to Ocean Gate, NJ, when he was a very young boy before settling in Bayville to raise their family. Steve was a graduate of Central Regional High School, Bayville, NJ.

Steve was an industrial mechanic for Webcraft/Vertis in North Brunswick for many years before retiring in 2013.

In 1978, Steve met Nancy Kerr, and they married on August 18, 1979, in Forked River, NJ. 

Steve and Nancy went on to raise two children; Timothy Jordan, Manchester and Michele Calhoun, Bayville. 

Steve loved dirt bikes, cars, and trout fishing. He was especially proud of his 1969 Chevy Nova that he restored himself.

Steve is predeceased by his parents, Frederick Jordan and Joan Tevnan.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; a son, Timothy and daughter, Michele, son in law, Matthew Calhoun; sisters, Christina Folinus and her husband, Frank and Joanne Wujack; two brothers, Frederick Jordan and his wife, Nancy and Peter Jordan; two grandchildren with whom he loved dearly, Cole Jordan and Charlotte Calhoun.
