Scott Simpson

Scott Simpson, 48, of Forked River died Sunday November 8, 2020.

Scott was born March 1,1972 to Elaine and Edward Simpson. They lived in Wayne New Jersey.

Scott enlisted in The United States Marine Corps in 2000. He was called to duty in 2002 for peace keeping mission in Kosovo and in 2003 to fight in the Iraq War. In 2008 Scott was honorably discharged. Scott followed in his father’s footsteps as a Marine and also in business working for Simpson Distributors Inc. In 2010 he moved to Brick NJ until moving to Forked River in December of 2014. Scott met his wife Amanda in 2014 and married in 2018. 

Scott will be remembered for his sense of humor and ability to make everyone laugh. He would give and never expect anything in return. Scott was the ultimate son, brother, friend, uncle, husband and father. He loved his family like no other and would protect them with all he had. 

Scott is survived by his loving brothers Kevin and Greg, his stepmom Georgia, his wife Amanda and daughter Makayla. He is loved and missed by a multitude of family, friends and Marine brothers.

Scott was an amazing man, give you the shirt off his back, loving and caring. He was a loving brother, a devoted husband and daddy.
