Sandra Claire Knorr

Sandra passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 11, 2024, at the age of 73.

Sandy was born and raised in Rahway, NJ, where she lived until 1984 when she moved with her family to Forked River, NJ.

Sandy loved the shore life and exploring the best restaurants Ocean County has to offer. Sandy enjoyed shuffle board at the Elks, crocheting, scrapbooking, puzzles and always had a book to read, her favorite was Gone with the Wind. Sandy especially loved spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren and bragging about them to anyone who would listen.

Sandra is survived by her son Philip and wife Michele; son Eric and wife Alana; daughter Jennifer and partner Jon; daughter Christine; grandchildren Leah, Theodore, Daniel, Katherine, Thomas, Julien, Genevieve, Charlie; brother Joseph Snegon; brother Roy Snegon; and sister Joanne (Snegon) Martin.

Sandra is predeceased by her ‘partner in wine’ and beloved husband of 40 years Stuart Knorr, and her loving parents Joseph and Claire (Roy) Snegon.

We wish to thank Michele Snegon for the loving and caring support that Sandy received.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made in Sandra's honor to the Village Lutheran Church.

A visitation will be held at Layton’s Home for Funerals in Forked River on January 20th at 11am with a Memorial Service at 12pm and a Celebration of Life to follow.
