Rylan McNeill

Rylan James McNeill passed away peacefully on Friday, August 7, 2020, at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Rylan was born on September 23, 2018, to devoted parents Marie Turino and Justin McNeill of Forked River, NJ. 

Rylan is survived by his loving parents and grandparents, Frederick and Anne Turino and Richard and Shirley Linaberry. He will be joyfully remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Rylan was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Marion Turino, and paternal grandfather, Ronald McNeill.

His family cherishes his life as a brief, amazing gift. He bravely battled leukemia with courage and dignity. His infectious laugh and radiant smile brought endless joy to everyone around him. He was happiest going for family boat rides, walks, feeding the swans and watching the ducks.

His family is deeply grateful to the many doctors, nurses, and child life specialists at Robert Wood Johnson Bristol Meyers Squibb Children’s Hospital in New Brunswick and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia who worked tirelessly to help Rylan in his battle against cancer. The family wants to give special thanks to Dr. Scott Moerdler (RWJ) and Dr. Alix Seif (CHOP).
