Rolf W. Ahrens, 91, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2020. Rolf was born in Newark, NJ, raised his family in Union, NJ, and moved to Forked River, NJ upon his retirement. He was a journeyman machinist, working his entire career at the Accurate Products Company in Hillside, NJ. He served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany, and was a lifelong member of the Swim and Sport Club, Flanders, NJ.

Rolf was known for his puns and his love of travel, especially car trips. He was an avid pinochle player and sports fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernst and Louise Ahrens, his wife Agnes (Carney) Ahrens, and his daughter Jeanmarie Leeman.

He is survived by his daughter Kathleen Popolillo and his son Michael, along with six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
