Robert Maffei

Robert Maffei, of Lacey, NJ, passed away on Sunday, July 31st, in Lacey, NJ at the age of 69. 

Robert worked for Maul Electric/Maul Power Group for 30years and was an Electrical Consultant for Torcon and Interstate Electric and various others throughout his life. He spent many years involved with and coaching for the Lacey Soccer Club andLacey Basketball. He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed cooking and going to the beach. He loved Naples, Florida and anytime he could be in the sun. He was always there for others and would do anything for those he loved. 

The son of the late Samuel and Maria Maffei, and brother of the late Amy and Samuel. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Laura, his kids Craig, Anthony, Sarah, Jessica and her husband DJ, Jackie and her husband Joe, Julie and her Fiancé DJ, and his grandkids Joey, Ava, and Owen. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Beverly, and his nephews Scott and Michael. 

A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Layton’s Funeral Home, 250 W. Lacey Road, Forked River, NJ. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Lacey Soccer Club at P.O. Box 496 Forked River, NJ 08731 and St. Jude’s Hospital.
