Richard D McAllister

Richard McAllister, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, father-in-law, and friend, passed away on October 26, 2024, at his home in Little Egg Harbor, NJ, at the age of 63. Born on March 5, 1961, in St. Louis, MO, Rich was the son of the late Walter and Dorothy McAllister.

Rich led a full life filled with love and joy. Rich enjoyed many things in life, including fishing, crabbing, racing, music, and sports. He also dearly loved his family and friends and was the life of the party wherever he went.

He leaves behind a family who will continue to cherish and share his memory: his daughter Amanda and her husband Alex Capozzoli, daughter Desiree and her husband Josh Wolarik, and his son James. Also grandchildren Kane and Rhys Wolarik, as well as Andrew, Gracie, Gavin, and Layla Bender. Rich had a great love for his family  and he always felt immense pride and joy in their accomplishments and happiness.

Throughout his life, Rich was an employee at Subaru for 28 years and more recently,  had a job at Acme Market where enjoyed helping people and making new connections.

In his younger years, Rich was an accomplished soccer and ice hockey player. He also enjoyed loved music and playing guitar, both which he continued to love throughout his life. Rich was always able to bring love, laughter, and happiness into everyone's lives and will be missed dearly.
