Paul Michael Evans

Paul Michael Evans, 66, of Beachwood, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 26, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Paul was born in Long Branch, New Jersey, to his parents, Samuel P. Evans and Myra A. MacInnis Evans. He was raised in Point Pleasant, where he later met the love of his life, Kathleen. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised their family in Lacey Township.

Paul dedicated over thirty years of his career to working for Verizon before retiring. 

Paul carried a deep love for music throughout his life. Whether playing the guitar with his siblings and friends, listening to his favorite songs, or creating special memories at concerts with his family, music brought him comfort, happiness, and a strong sense of connection. He found true joy in life's simple moments—spending time out on the boat, whether fishing or sharing laughs with loved ones at Tices Shoal; enjoying poker games with friends; or visiting the shooting range. Paul was also a longtime member of the Lacey Elks Lodge, where he enjoyed playing pool, horseshoes, and darts, and valued the friendships he built there. It was in these moments, surrounded by those he loved, that Paul was truly at his happiest and created lasting memories.

He will be remembered as a funny, kind, and deeply loving man whose laughter was truly infectious. Paul was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation, always putting others before himself. He had a gift for making people smile and feel welcome, whether you knew him for years or had just met him.

Paul is survived by his devoted wife, Kathleen M. Evans; his son, Jordan P. Evans; and his daughter, Kimberly M. Evans. He is also survived by his brother, Samuel Evans and his wife, Karen; his sisters, Donna Woofter and Debra Evans; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Samuel P. Evans and Myra Evans, and his brother, Gerald Evans.

Above all, Paul was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. His strength, resilience, and unwavering love for his family and friends will never be forgotten. Paul will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
