Patricia A Brand

Patricia Ann Brand (née Sirotniak), aged 63, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 25, 1960, in Charles County, Maryland, Patricia, affectionately known as Patty, was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose warmth, kindness, and humor touched all who knew her.

Patricia was predeceased by her beloved parents, Frances and James Sirotniak, and her cherished son, Shawn Dion. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Matthew Brand, and her children, Gannon Shanley, Matthew and Joseph Seymour, and daughter-in-law Kelsie Seymour. Her memory will also be cherished by her brothers, Jim, Jon, and Michael Sirotniak; her sisters-in-law, Amy Berg, Lee-Ann Hodgson Sirotniak, and Rachel Brand; and her nieces and nephews, Jennie, Jimmy, Steven, Casey, and Lucas Sirotniak, and Macie Brand. Patricia was a proud grandmother to Landon, Maverick, and Scottie Seymour, who brought immense joy to her life.

Patricia dedicated over 30 years of service to JCP&L before retiring to Whiting, New Jersey. She was a woman of varied interests, finding joy in line dancing, traveling, and exploring museums. Patricia had a passion for collecting carousel figures, Christmas ornaments, and unique glassware, reflecting her appreciation for beauty and whimsy. She also enjoyed watching reality shows and seizing any opportunity for a getaway.

Visitation to honor Patricia's life will be held at Layton's Home for Funerals on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024, from 6 to 9 p.m. Her family invites all who knew her to join in celebrating her life and legacy. Patricia will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
