Michael A. Pietrunti

Michael A. Pietrunti, 87, of Waretown, New Jersey left this earth peacefully on January 1, 2025 surrounded by his family.

Michael was a retired NYPD Deputy Inspector for 32 years and a United States Navy Veteran. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Geraldine, sisters Anna Marie and Catherine, children John, Lorraine, Michael, and Philip, daughters-in-law Michelle and Jeanine, son-in-law Joseph, eleven grandchildren Michael, Dominick, Jessica, Candace, Samantha, Jaimee, Alexandra, Melaine, Alyssa, Nicole, and Philip, and seven great-grandchildren Robert, Nicholas, Vayda, Maverick, Jax, Kaia, and Gabrielle. 

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
