It is with a heavy heart that we share the peaceful passing of Michael Gerard LoCicero on April 24, 2023, at the age of 66. He entered eternal rest surrounded by his loving family.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his wife Laura LoCicero, his children Michael S. LoCicero and Jennifer DeCaro and their spouses and his grandchildren Eli, Nikolai, Shaelyn and Tyler. He was predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Helen LoCicero, his brother Anthony LoCicero, and his sister Joanne Comitini.
Michael was born and raised in Brooklyn. He lived in Staten Island and then settled in Lacey Township, NJ. He held a long-standing career as an HVAC engineer for Cushman and Wakefield for over thirty years before retiring in 2019. He had a love for playing the guitar and listening to classic rock. He kept his love for exercise throughout his lifetime up until his passing. Michael was a caring and selfless person who loved his family. He was a genuine man and strongly believed in God, hard work and living life in the moment. He was beloved by his family and will be missed dearly.
A visitation, a Celebration of Life for Michael is planned for Thursday, April 27th, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Layton’s Home for Funerals , 250 Lacey Road, Forked River, NJ. The funeral service will be Friday, April 28th, at 9:30 am. Burial will follow at Good Luck Cemetery, Lanoka Harbor, NJ.
