Michael, 69, passed away peacefully the morning of September 26th.
Michael was born and raised in South Orange, New Jersey on March 9th, 1952. He was the son of Carmen and Helen Iantosca. He graduated from Columbia High School in 1970 and went on to Belknap College in New Hampshire where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business. Michael was a talented athlete and had a successful college career playing point guard for the Belknap basketball team.
He had a long career in business and worked for St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ in the years preceding his retirement.
Michael is survived by his wife Chutima, his two sons, Michael and Jonathan, his brother, Carmen (Kathleen) and sisters, Elvira Wainwright and Gilda Shupp (Steven) in addition to many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his aunt and godmother, Gilda Genova.
Besides spending time with his family, Michael enjoyed sports, fishing, gardening, photography, and hanging out with his dog Maddy. He was also an expert bird caller, skilled carpenter and was highly proficient at relaxing. Michael had a great sense of humor and was always known for sharing a great joke.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the American Heart Association. The family wishes are no flowers.
