Michael M Capik

Michael M. Capik, 83, of Forked River, NJ, passed away on January 3rd, 2021. He was an active parishioner of Church of St. Pius X.

Michael was born on November 21, 1937, to John and Mary in Perth Amboy, NJ, and raised in Carteret, NJ. 

After graduating from Carteret High School, Class of 1955, he continued his education at Cooper Union, receiving his B.S. in engineering.  While attending school, he also served in the U.S. Army Reserves. 

He was employed by Foster Wheeler Energy Corporation in Livingston and Clinton, NJ. A former high school football player himself, Michael loved watching and coaching football, the NY Jets, skiing, the beach, wreck diving, and boating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother John, and his beloved dog Moose. He is survived by his three children, Mark, Michelle, and Bryan with wife Krista.
