MaryLou Gardner

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of MaryLou Gardner (Vesey), age 86, of Toms River. She passed away at Jersey Shore Hospital on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.
MaryLou was born in Hoboken, NJ. She worked at 21 Plus & JD's Italian Ice, which she loved. Her clients and co-workers became family. Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and, to many, a caring friend.   
MaryLou is survived by her children Carol Miller, Lynn and Michael Talarico, Howard and Joann Gardner, and step-daughter Susan Lesak. She is further blessed to have welcomed in grandchildren, great grandchildren, and was beyond proud to become a great-great-grandmother. MaryLou is predeceased by her husband Howard and daughter Gail. 
She loved the Yankees, playing bingo and crocheting. But, mostly, she loved spending time with her grandkids. While her life was full of compassion and banter, MaryLou celebrated her sassiness; and for that she will be missed. 
MaryLou possessed a light that will continue to shine long after she's gone.
