Maria Serino

Maria Serino, 86, of Lacey Township died February 4, 2022.

 Maria was born April 28, 1935, to Ciara and Donato Patarino in Bari Italy. She is predeceased by her husband Giuseppe (Peppino) and brothers Filippo and Anthony Patarino. Survived by her three daughter's Adela Maydish, Emma Serino, Francesca Rusak, and son in law Richard. Her grandkids Thomas, Jane, Clay Maydish, Brian, and Julia Rusak also great grandkids Taya, Thomas, Angela, Rocco, and Caly Maydish.

Her brother Philip (wife Denise) Patarino, Anna Nicassio, Catherine Malavarca, Giovanna (her husband Tom) Ketchum and Rosa (her husband Richard) Mazzei. Also, many nieces and nephews.

  Maria and Peppino came to America with their three daughters in 1967 where they lived in East Orange, Irvington and Boonton finally retiring in Lacey. One of her fondest memories was singing in her father’s band for the American soldiers. Maria also loved to sew, gardening and spending time with her family. She is happy now back with her Peppino.
