Lucille Stuppiello (née Villano), 93, of Forked River, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025, surrounded by care and love.
Born in East Newark, New Jersey, Lucille was a proud graduate of Harrison High School. She later worked as a travel agent in Lyndhurst, NJ, a role that suited her warm personality and love of connecting with people. She resided in Forked River for the past 30 years.
Lucille was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Stuppiello , and her surviving in laws Thomas Stuppiello and Mary DiPopolo.
She is survived by her devoted children: Michele and Peter Messore; Angela and Joseph Swatic; Ann and Stephen Kijewski; and Michael and Danielle Stuppiello. She was a cherished grandmother to Joseph, Doreen, Michael Ann, Mark, Matty, Jennifer, James, Lauren , Joey, Thomas, Aiesha, Andrew, Amanda Joe, Michael, Rebecca and Christina. Lucille was especially proud of and deeply enjoyed her 15 great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.
Family meant everything to Lucille. She treasured time spent with loved ones. There was a constant flow of nieces, nephews, and friends .Known for her constant phone calls, handwritten cards, and genuine love of life, Lucille made everyone feel remembered and valued.
Her kindness, devotion, and warm presence will be deeply missed forever.
