Linda Packo, 62, of Waretown, NJ passed away on March 3, 2020.
Linda was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Monmouth County, NJ where she graduated from Monmouth University. She worked as a Certified Public Accountant and then moved to Manalapan, NJ where she raised her family until moving to Waretown in 2013.
Linda’s passion and commitment for her family knew no limits. She was a devoted wife, a loving, hands-on mother and the world’s best Grammy who put her family above everything else. Her upbeat and genuine personality put everyone around her at ease and allowed her to be easily loved by everyone she met. She was an avid golfer and a fantastic fisherman. She loved to draw and paint and she cared for her orchids and gardens year-round. Her adventurous spirit, love and appreciation for life were at their best when she travelled with her family and friends. She was an active member of Greenbriar’s Oceanaire Women’s Golf Association and Hooks & Anchors Club, and a long-time member of the Deep Cut Orchid Society in Middletown.
Linda lived life to the fullest every day. The impact she had on her entire family and circle of friends was easily seen and will live on in her memory. She is predeceased by her father, C. Dale Haase. She is survived by her mother, Lillian Haase; her husband of 40 years, Rick; her two daughters and their spouses, Amy & Mark Rogers and Nicole & Jon Bartkovich; two sisters and brothers-in-laws, Alyssa & Joseph Graziano and Sara & Peter Ristine; one grandchild, four nephews, an uncle, aunts, cousins and many dear friends.
Linda will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Linda’s memory to support finding a cure for Triple Negative Breast Cancer.
