Karen L. Jakubczak

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karen Jakubczak (née Siddons), of Beachwood, NJ. She passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on April 27, 1959, she lived in Bayville, NJ until moving to Beachwood, NJ in 2020.

A graduate of Central Regional High School in Bayville, Class of 1977, Karen went on to dedicate over 25 years of service to the Ocean County Library System. Her long-standing career reflected a deep commitment to public service and access to knowledge. 

Karen was a devoted parent and grandparent. She is survived by her husband Leonard Jakubczak; daughter Jill Vecchio; stepdaughter Kristine Jakubczak; stepson Jason Jakubczak; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Her legacy continues through these generations who carry forward cherished memories.

Karen is also remembered by her siblings: Richard Siddons Sr., Robert Siddons Sr., James Siddons Sr., Michael Siddons Sr., and Kathy Siddons. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will remember her with affection. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Marguerite Siddons Sr.; brothers Edward Siddons Jr., Raymond Siddons, Steven Siddons; and sister Joann Siddons.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures reading, spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Karen's life and memory.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her. She will be missed beyond measure and remembered always.
