Juan A Ortiz

Juan Ortiz, an avid Yankees fan, of Forked River, passed away Tuesday July 7th at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born and raised in Newark, Juan fulfilled his dream of living down the shore by moving to Toms River with his family in 1995 and most recently to Forked River.

 Juan dedicated 30 years of his life helping those in need as an EMT. He began his career as a member of the Northward First Aid squad and retired as a Chief of Regional Emergency Medical Communications Systems for UMDNJ.

Juan is predeceased by his father Luis.

Juan has been with his loving wife, Dana, for 40 years and has three wonderful daughters Marie, Ashley, and Samantha. He is also survived by his mother Alma, his brother Hiram, and nephew and godson Luis, also many loving nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and extended family. He is predeceased by his father Luis.

 Juan a loving husband, father, uncle, and friend will be missed by all.
