Josephine Baldelli

Josephine (Josette) Baldelli of Forked River passed away in her home on Tuesday February 6, 2024.

Josette was born to Fred and Eleanor Fiumefreddo and resided in Brooklyn. 

She attended Lafayette High School, and went on to Kingsborough Community College and Brooklyn College earning her masters degree in education. She taught at Happy Land Pre-School for a few of years before beginning her journey as a second grade teacher at Our Lady of Miracles School in Canarsie. 

Josette met the love of her life, Phil, in 1982 on the B1 bus, and they got married in 1983. They shared 40 wonderful years together. In 1999, Phil, Josette, and their daughter Nicole, moved to Forked River and have enjoyed living here ever since. 

Josette loved to read and particularly enjoyed Lancaster, PA and all things Amish. 

Josette is survived by her husband Phil, her daughters: Nicole and her husband Jeff, Maria and her husband Tom, Patty and her husband Diego, her sister Monica and her husband John, her 3 grandchildren Nick, Sami Jo, and Gaby, and her extra special grand pup: Molly.
