Joseph G Kopec

Joseph G Kopec age 74 of Lanoka Harbor died Thursday, September 30, 2021, peacefully.
He was born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ and moved to Lacey Township in 1985.Joseph worked for Chevron and the school system for many years.

Mr. Kopec loved going out on his boat and enjoyed classic cars. He loved crabbing and taking walks by the water with his wife by the Barnegat Light House. Every morning he looked forward to meeting his friends for a cup of coffee at the local 7-11 while scratching off lottery tickets in hope of winning big to make his family’s life easier. He loved spending time with his family, enjoying laughs while telling old time stories. He was into watching all sports and loved all animals, especially his sidekicks Rusty and Riley.

Surviving is his wife Anita of 29 years. His daughter Ashley Ferris and husband Jonathan. His three stepdaughters Denise Mack and husband Jeff, Michelle Kohli and husband Scott and Jenni Mctigue and husband Brian and grandchildren Ryan, Devon, Brayden and Avriana.
We will miss you. We love you and may you rest peacefully.
