Joseph Ferreira

Joseph Ferreira, age 79, of Forked River passed away on Wednesday March 13,2024 at his home surrounded by family.

Born in Portugal and came to the United States at age 11. He grew up in Elizabeth with his parents and sister. Before his recent move to Forked River, Joe resided in Branchburg for 26 years.

He proudly and honorably served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Joe worked as a carpenter for 40 years until he retired in 2006. In his retirement, you would find Joe doing home renovations, enjoying his grandsons and his Corvette.

Joe is predeceased by his parents Anibal and Helena Ferreira.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Andrea Ferreira and his sister Maria Vittoria Senglar. Joe is also survived by his two sons, Joey Ferreira and David Ferreira Sr; grandsons, David Ferreira Jr, Aiden Ferreira and Dayton Ferreira.
