Joseph M. Everett., 34 of Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey, was born on October 24, 1991, at Monmouth Medical Center and passed away unexpectedly in a tragic accident, January 14, 2026, in Newark, New Jersey. 

Joey was a lifelong resident of Lacey Township, New Jersey. Throughout his youth, he played baseball in Lacey Townships Little Leauge and proudly represented the Lacey All - Star team. He graduated from Lacey Township High School, earning scholarships, and went on to attend Ocean County College. 

After college, Joey worked in several fields before finding his calling with the Laborers' Local 472 Union, where he remained employed until his passing. 

Joseph was a kind, loving, handsome, humorous, devoted,and strong man who would help anyone in need. His generosity and compassion were felt by all who knew him. His loss will be deeply felt by many, and his smile truly lit up every room he entered. 

Joey had a deep love for sports and the outdoors. He was a devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Yankees, and he especially enjoyed spending time on the golf course. Above all, he cherished his loyal dog Jeter, who was his constant companion and best friend. 

Joseph was predeceased by his beloved twin sister, Alyssa Everett, in 2017.

He is survived by his loving mother, Deanna Ruzzano Oberhauser; his stepfather, Chad Oberhauser; his father Joseph Everett Sr.; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Vitale; his maternal grandfather Anthony Ruzzano Sr.; his paternal grandmother, Anita Everett; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
