Joan Marie Cunningham

Joan Marie Cunningham, 83, of the Forked River section of Lacey Township, died Saturday, March 26, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Lanoka Harbor.

Joan was born and raised in Staten Island, NY; It was there where she fell in love with her husband, Edmund.  They were married for 44 years, and they truly shared a once in a lifetime love story.

For the past 20 years, she has been a Lacey Township resident.

Joan was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.

She was a selfless woman with the kindest heart.  She would light up a room with her beautiful radiant smile and her positive personality.  Those who knew her were truly Blessed.  She will be forever missed and always in our hearts.

She was predeceased by her late husband, Edmund in December 2021.

Joan had 2 children by her first husband, Doreen Scaglione-Padovani and her husband Christopher and the late, Frank John Scaglione.  Also surviving are:  Sister-Alice Jacobsen Brother- Frank Schneider Jr. Deceased siblings: Sisters- Hazel Bigham Frances Coffey Grandchildren: Michael Padovani Christine Funk (David) Danielle Grochowski (Timothy) Great Grandchildren: Alice, Mary, and Wendy Padovani Sophia and Raelynn Funk Stepchildren: Theresa Cunningham, Nora Frey (Franz), Judi Cunningham, Joseph Cunningham (Sandra), Frank Cunningham (Irene), Susan Kelly, Geraldine McColgan (Kevin), Thomas Cunningham (Deborah) Step grandchildren: Amanda McNary (Adam), Laura Fuls, Alison Marris (Demetri), Kristen Cunningham, Martin Cunningham, Maya Cunningham, Michael Kelly (Caroline), Arlene Kelly (Craig), Nolan Kelly, Owen Kelly, Sean McColgan (Meng), Kathryn Sprague (Ryan), Thomas Cunningham Jr., Joseph Cunningham (Severine), Katherine Cunningham Step great-grandchildren: Fiona Duffy, Sophia Eldridge, Silas Eldridge, Seth McNary, Irene Marras, Maeve and Rory Mende, Marlene McColgan, Liam Cunningham
