Gerald “Jerry” Krzeczkowski, 75 of Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey, passed away after a five-year battle with cancer, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, Jerry resided in Kearny, New Jersey, where he was a high school basketball star, for many years before raising his family in Lanoka Harbor. He was the cherished husband of Eileen Worth Krzeczkowski, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and precious memories. Their marriage was a true testament to devotion, faith, and partnership.
Jerry worked in the financial district of Lower Manhattan for JPMorgan Chase, retiring in 2005. He was a survivor of the September 11th attacks, an experience that left a lasting impact and deepened his gratitude for life and family. He continued to work after retirement at the Rubino Academy and Hartnett Transportation.
Jerry is survived by his only brother, Henry Casimir Krzeczkowski. He is preceded in death by his adoring parents, Henry Casimir and Sophie Nasal Krzeczkowski. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Eileen Worth Krzeczkowski. A proud and loving father, Jerry is survived by his daughters, Kelly Ann Krzeczkowski, her children, Reilly Sophia and Charlie Gerald, Courtney Geri and her husband Andrew Parks, their children Grayson Andrew, Shelby Eileen, and Bradyn Henry, his son Jordan David and his wife Jessica Krzeczkowski, their children Trey Casimir and Finley Claire, and his faithful dog Buddy, who was always by his side.
Jerry’s family was his world, and he found his greatest happiness in spending time with them, attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, and creating lasting family memories.
Jerry had a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures--he found joy in vacationing on the Outer Banks and in Maine, playing golf, and watching sunsets. He was an avid sports fan, especially devoted to the Minnesota Vikings. Some of his happiest times were spent at Sunday family dinners, tending to his garden and koi pond, and enjoying the everyday joys of his home and family. His warmth, gentle spirit, humor, and unwavering love for his family and friends will be remembered always.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Layton's Home For Funerals, Forked River, New Jersey.
