Fred A. Marione, Sr.

Fred A. Marione, 88, of the Bayville section of Berkeley Township, died, Friday, August 22, 2025, at Community Medical Center, Toms River.

Fred was born and spent most of his life in North Bergen, until relocating to Ocean County where he and his beloved wife Josette were the proprietors of JoLee Dry Cleaners, in Forked River.  They made a great life for themselves, and were both loved by everyone in town; people would come into the store sometimes just for good conversations and laughs.

He spent this last week in the hospital, not in pain, just getting tired.  He was surrounded by love in his final moments and left this world as peaceful as could be.

His family would like everyone to know, although we are very sad, we are ok.  We should all hope to live a long life filled with friends and family that love us, and when it is time…. to go peacefully, like Fred did.

He was predeceased by his wife, Josette Sgroi Marione and his daughter, Jodi Marione Molion.

Surviving are his son, Fred and his partner Bill; a daughter, Lisa; sons-in-law’s, Billy and John; a son, Scott and his wife Heather.  Also, surviving are his grandchildren, who were the light of his life, Aundrea and husband, Jimmy, Daria and husband, James, Natalie, Evan, Joshua, Rachel, and Jake; and his Great granddaughter Lucia.
