Frances E. Wyckoff

Frances Wyckoff, 67, of Egg Harbor Township, NJ passed away peacefully in the morning of April 17, 2021 at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, NJ spending her last hours surrounded by loved ones in person and virtually.

Daughter of the late Charles Jones (Grace) and Lucy Sines (Thomas), she was born in Portsmouth, VA on May 19, 1953. A graduate of Atlantic Community College, she went on to work for Atlantic County as a Child Support Supervisor who would eventually be celebrated as supervisor of the year for the state of New Jersey.

Frances was known for her dedication to her children, family, friends, and community, being supportive in any way she could. She was also known for her volunteer work with the Somers Point Sharks organization, Shore Memorial Hospital, and American Heart Association.

Frances had a strong faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her strong faith was evident in her final moments as she was excited and comforted to see her Savior face to face. She was a member of Friendship Bible Church in Egg Harbor Township where she felt welcomed and loved by all.

She was happiest when she was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She looked forward to visits when she would be surrounded by her children, grandchildren and loved ones. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

She was predeceased by her parents (listed above), siblings: Donald Letho (Patty), Charles L. Jones Jr, Sophie Biggs, and Ralph Jones (Paula).

Frances is survived by her four children: John (Kara), Gary, Charles, and Nicole (Gabriel). Eight grandchildren: Amber, Amanda, Lily, Gary, Lexi, Parker, Gabriel, and Hezekiah. Siblings: Helen Biggs, Theresa Armstrong (Douglas), Carl Biggs (Jane), Thomas Jones (Bonnie), Anthony Biggs (Betty), Kevin Jones (Billie Jo), James Jones (Mary), Thomas Foster (Regina), William Jones (Sissy), Daniel Foster (Kelly), Antoinnette Dube (Robert), Grace Shanteau (Ron), Mary Carson (Raymond), Alice Flanagan, and Randy Foster. Additionally, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Jersey Children’s Trust Fund going towards child abuse and neglect prevention programs; www.njchildrenstrustfund.org.

Frances’ celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Friendship Bible Church, 4004 Ocean Heights Ave, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234.  Visitation will be from 10am, followed by the service at 11am.
