Florence (Flo) DeFero-Gradzki of Waretown, NJ passed away on June 10th. She was 87 years old. Beloved mother to Anthony Liguori Jr. and his wife Jeannette, Theresa Liguori, and Frank Liguori and his wife Sherrill. She was the grandmother of Christian Liguori and his wife Erin, Joshua Liguori, Anthony Schaller, Sarah Schaller, Nicole Liguori, and great grandmother to Frank.
She was born and raised in Hackensack, NJ and longtime resident of Saddle Brook, NJ. Formerly a parishioner of St. Philp the Apostle in Saddle Brook where she involved with the Ave Maria Players. She was heavily involved with Women’s Unico as both a member and former president.
Her later years were spent in retirement at the Jersey Shore, first in Bayville then settling in Waretown. Going to the Seaside Heights boardwalk to ride the carousel at Casino Pier brought her great joy over the years. She was a lover of music, being a longtime fan of artists like Elvis Presley, Johnny Mathis, and Barbara Streisand. Besides music, she was known for her love of Disney, particularly being fond of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
