Elizabeth E O'Neill

It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Elizabeth Evelyn O’Neill, who passed away July 14, 2024 at the age of 104 years. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and worked as a secretary in Manhattan. She married William J O’Neill, retired mechanic  for the United States Postal Service, in February 1941. They moved to the Port Richmond neighborhood of Staten Island, where they owned and operated a store. They retired to Forked River, NJ where Elizabeth was active with the Women’s Club of Lacey and enjoyed singing in their choir.

She is predeceased by her husband , her brother George Weber, and her nephew Peter Weber.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia, and son in law, James Episcopia as well as her three grandchildren James Episcopia, Nicole Sosa, and Laura Boies and her six great grandchildren with whom she loved spending time, (especially when rooting for the NY Yankees.) She is also survived by her three nieces Carolyn Adamo, Marilyn Maceli, Susan Adamo, and great nieces and nephews. She will be forever loved and missed by all that knew her.
