Dominic Sestito, III

Dominic "Spooky" Sestito III of Lanoka Harbor, NJ passed away at Ocean Medical Center on March 3rd, 2022. Dominic was raised in Red Bank, NJ by the late Joan and Dominic Sestito, Jr.  

Dominic was a man of many passions.  He enjoyed the outdoors and taking walks as often as possible even up until the end. Dominic had a love for working and playing with dogs. He enjoyed being around family, doing crosswords, watching sports and shared his love of cars, specifically Ford Mustangs, with his son.  Dominic could be found constantly tinkering with things in his shed while listening to music and growing plants in his greenhouse.  

For over 30 years, Dominic worked hard to support his family as an officer for the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office, retiring after an accomplished career to spend quality time with his family.

Dominic is survived by his wife, Robin Runge, his sons Dominic and Anthony, his daughters Tracy, Rebecca and Hailea, as well as his older brother Albert, and sisters Angel, Rose, Doreen, Denise and Nicole. He was also beloved by his 6 grandsons.

Services for Dominic will be a viewing at Layton's Home For Funerals on March 7th from 2pm-4pm. Family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of remembrance following the viewing at his son Dominic's home.
