It is with our sorrow, and her peace, that we must announce that Deborah A. Le Tellier has left us, though it was her great wish that we quickly turn that sorrow into fond memory and joy.
Debbie passed in peace with the best of care at Jersey Shore University Medical Center this past Sunday night. We could not have asked for more compassionate people to help us see her off.
She is survived by her husband James, her son Eric, her brother Greg and his wife Kerry, and her beloved niece and nephews: Bryce, Rory, Jane, and JP Wojciechowski.
She is preceded by her father John F. Wojciechowski, her brother John S. Wojciechowski, her mother Margaret Wojciechowski-Boor, and her step-father George Boor.
Debbie was a graduate of the first class of Toms River High School North, worked as a manager and regional manager for Bernard's Specialties, and was a licensed real-estate agent and sales broker for Red Carpet Realty and Lacey Realty.
Debbie grew up riding horses and showed alongside her beloved equine partners, Marengo and Shalimar. She was a member of the Mid-Atlantic Arabian Horse Association and was a leader in the Ocean County 4H Equestrian Program, co-founding the Hot to Trot club. She won countless shows and awards throughout the tri state area and beyond.
Debbie enjoyed raising Doberman Pinschers and Tropical fish. The image of calm waves on a tropical beach was the background to her soul, but many a day she could be found enjoying the beauty of a raging storm outside (often to the worry of her husband and son), something nature saw fit to give her for her last day.
She was a greatly empathetic and generous person, donating often, and now in her memory, to fight children's cancer through the work of St. Jude. She was kind and fierce, in equal measure, and always left an impression in the memory of those who met her.
Debbie was a fantastic cook, with taste buds that were the bane of "secret family recipes" everywhere. Long will the taste of her dishes be remembered by those she loved. She was the kind of homemaker and host that would make sure every person who stepped into the house was fed before they were even hungry. May we always be full from her love
