Colleen E. Harding

Colleen Elizabeth Harding, age 79, formerly of Lacey passed away on March 28, 2023.  Raised in Rutgers Village in New Brunswick, she graduated from New Brunswick High School.  She went on to graduate from Rutgers College and Temple University for Nursing.  She moved to Toms River in 1970 with her then husband Richard Romanchek and had 2 boys, Brian and Shawn.  She worked for the Ocean County Vocational School District for 27 years.  In retirement, she enjoyed travel and music with her partner of 20 years Frank Schureman as well as spending time with her grandchildren, Taylor and Kayden.  She is survived by her brother, Joseph, children Brian and Shawn, and two grandchildren, Taylor and Kayden.  Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 2 to 4pm.
