Charles F. Gulizia,Sr.

Mr. Charles F. Gulizia, SR., 74, of Forked River, passed away on June 12th, 2024.     He was born in Brooklyn, New York. The family then moved to Staten Island where  Charles attended Tottenville High School. After graduation, Charles entered the United States Navy. He served on the USS Sylvania, a supply ship, and was commentated for saving many lives in a fire. After an Honorable Discharge, he relocated to the Jersey Shore. Before retirement, Charles worked at the Ocean County Utilities Authority and he also worked for ShopRite of Lacey.     

Predeceased by his brother Albert and sister Barbara Bower.

 He is survived by his wife Regina (nee) Barrett Gulizia, and his loving son, Mr. Charles F. Gulizia, Jr. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Phyliss Stemmel and  multiple nieces and nephews. Charles a parishioner at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church and also enjoyed his time helping the Good Samaritans. He will be forever loved by his wife and son, and missed by all who knew him.
