It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Carol L. Kennett, lovingly also known as “Mema” to many on April 27, 2026 at the age of 79.
Carol was born on January 28, 1947 in Somerville, NJ, she grew up in Toms River, NJ, and later found her home in Bayville, NJ in 1975. She was the beloved wife of the late Alan Kennett, sharing 56 years of love and marriage together.
She was truly a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her. Her warmth, laughter and kind spirit made her deeply loved by all. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially her trips to Atlantic City, exciting cruises, and lively games at bingo. She embraced every moment and lived life to the fullest, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
She was predeceased by her brother Peter Cederberg and his wife, Debbie. She is survived by her brother Charles Cederberg and his wife, Roseann. Her four children, daughter Donna and husband; Louis; son David and wife, Jennifer; daughter Danielle and husband, William; and daughter Dana and husband, Joseph. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Louis and wife, Amy; Ryan and wife, Stephanie; Heather, Morgan, Riley, Cameron, EJ, Connor and Leah; as well as her great grandchildren Louie and Maisy and her newest great grandchild on the way. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.
