Carmine Colalillo

Carmine Colalillo, age 85, passed into God’s Heaven Gates on December 7, 2024.

Born and raised in Abruzzo, Italy. Came over to America by boat and proud to have become an American citizen. Reunited again with his high school sweetheart, the late Libera Colalillo and married for 64 years. Known her since she was 5 years old. Survived by his daughter Lisa Colalillo Gee husband David and son Philip Colalillo, wife Susan. Four beautiful grandchildren Brianna, Justina, Alyssa and Philip(pj) 

They made their family home in Newark and Belleville NJ then retired to Forked River NJ in 2004. He loved to make a huge vegetable garden with apple, pear trees and fig trees. He had a green thumb and was so proud. Everyone knew his house by the huge variety of vegetables and flowers.. 

He predeceased his wife, Libera Colalillo, brothers, Nicola Colalillo, Gino Colalillo, and Giovanni Colalillo
