Ann Elyonta Milliken (also known as Ann M Vincelette) passed beautifully on October 4, 2025. Born February 10, 1934 to John Milliken and Helen King in Montclair, NJ, she grew up as an only child. In 1952 she attended Centenary Junior College in Hackettstown NJ. In 1954, she married Richard TF Randolph and they had Steven James Randolph (1955-2018) and Sherrill Ann Dunsmuir (1958). Later in 1978 she married Pete Vincelette. She was an avid choir member over many years in both Methodist and Presbyterian churches. She loved spending time at the ocean.
Anyone who knew Ann knew she was a magical person. Amplified by her love of all creatures large and small and all things Winnie the Pooh, her whimsical spirit was a joy to be around. She never said a bad word about anybody and supported everyone's right to chase their dreams. She loved taking pictures, especially Polaroids. One of her greatest joys in life was writing letters, a passion she kept up until just the last few years. The last chapter of her life was spent at Brandywine Assisted Living in Toms River where her walls were covered in photos she had taken and shelves full of books and stationary supplies. She was well cared for and adored by the staff for her unfailing upbeat demeanor and playful nature.
The truest testament to Ann's personality is that it remained much the same since her youth. Please enjoy this excerpt from her high school yearbook: "Ann seems to us like a "widdle wabbit" - her "cwazy" sense of humor and her bouncy, lively ways, not to mention her friendliness have made her an indispensable part of our class. Whenever she is around she makes everyone feel wonderful with her clowning. Her baby blue eyes, blond hair, and bright face all increase her vivacity."
Ann loved deeply and made an impression on everyone she met. The world is a better place because she was in it. She will be missed beyond words.
Ann is pre-deceased by her son, Steven James Randolph (Maureen Randolph) and husband Peter Vincelette. Ann is survived by her daughter Sherrill Ann Dunsmuir (Steve Dunsmuir), grandchildren Jennifer Randolph, KiRa Fritzky-Randolph (Rose Fritzky-Randolph), Sarah Sipich (David Sipich), Travis Dunsmuir, Griffin Randolph and great-grandchildren, Verona, Ruby & Dax Sipich and Crosby Fritzky-Randolph.
