Allan D Gudrian

Allan Dennis Gudrian, Born March 24, 1942 was 77 at the time of his death. He passed in his sleep after a short illness, Tuesday evening, March 10, 2020 at the Barnegat Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, on Bay Avenue in Barnegat, NJ.

There will be a viewing for friends and family at Layton’s Funeral Home, 250 Lacey Rd, Forked River, NJ 08731. The viewing is on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 pm. With the funeral to follow on Saturday March 14, 2020, 10 am at the Valleau Cemetery, 660 E. Glen Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ 07450.

Allan Gudrian (Goodie) a former 4th generation resident of Midland Park NJ. Retired as a Captain within the Ridgewood Fire Department after 30 years of service. He attended Midland Park High School where he met his lovely wife of almost 60 years, Christine J (Gallagher) Gudrian. They became residents of Forked River, NJ in January of 2000. He was a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a friend to many, and who gave shelter to those in need. Allan was always willing to help others find their way. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.  

He is survived by his wife Christine J. Gudrian, 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
