Stuart passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2017, at the age of 69. Stuart was with his beloved wife, Sandra, when he was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Stuart is survived by his beloved wife Sandra (Snegon) Knorr; his daughter Christine Spicuzzo, son Philip Knorr and daughter-in-law Michele, son Eric Knorr and daughter-in-law Alana, daughter Jennifer Knorr; grandchildren Julien, Genevieve, Leah, Theodore, Daniel and Katherine; and sister Carol (Knorr) Haber.

Stuart is predeceased by his parents Charles and Charlotte (Schlierman) Knorr and his sister Phyllis Knorr.

Stu was born and raised in Rahway, NJ, where he lived until 1984 when he moved his family to Forked River, NJ.

Stu was active with the Elks for many years serving as Exalted Ruler of Rahway Lodge 1075 and holding various charitable and community service-oriented positions while a member of Lacey Lodge 2518.

Stu was a devout Lutheran. As an active member of Village Lutheran Church in Lanoka Harbor, Stu taught Sunday school, served as Head Elder and Deacon to name just a few. Stu served as Lay Minister to assist at local churches and also held services and prayer at nursing homes.

In Lieu of flowers the family is asking donations to be made in Stuart's Honor to either the Village Lutheran Church or Lacey Elks 2518 Special Children's Committee.
