Robert W Rehner

Robert W. Rehner (Bob), age 60, passed away on Saturday, August 17th, 2019 at Monmouth Medical Center South, Lakewood, NJ.

 Robert the son of Katharina Rehner was born in Newark, NJ and grew up in Irvington, NJ. He graduated from Essex County Vocational High School on June 28th, 1976. He then served in the United States Marine Corps in which he specialized in Field Artillery Fire Control. Robert was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal and Sharpshooter. In 1987, he attended Robert Walsh Business School in Union, NJ to obtain a degree in Computer Programming.

He worked as a machinist at Johnson Screens Inc. in Forked River, NJ.

Robert is survived by his partner of 23 years, Doris Weyforth, daughter, Bianca Alyssa Rehner, sisters, Marie Minervini, Rose Rehner and Jacqueline Gocklin, as well as, many nieces and nephews.

 Robert was a very kind, compassionate and mild mannered man and was loved by everyone. He enjoyed meeting people and making new friends. He also enjoyed traveling and fishing, spending time on the beach and going on nature walks with the love of his life Doris. He cherished the times he spent with his daughter Bianca. He adored his sweet, little girl Penny (his beloved dog). He treasured his time with his family and friends to the fullest and held them very close to his heart.  Robert's spirit was larger than life and he will be greatly missed. His big heart will be a part of ours forever.
