Joseph Novelli

Joseph Novelli, 80, passed away peacefully at home on November 17, 2019.

 Joseph was a graduate of both Farmingdale State University and Adelphi University in New York and worked as an estimator, appraiser, and business owner.

He was married to Lois for over 55 years and together they enjoyed dancing, traveling and theatre.  An avid crossword solver, Joe also played pinochle and dominoes and loved going to dinner with friends.

As an appraiser he was well known in his field and was active in several professional societies until he retired in 2018.  In addition, with his longtime friend, Ron, they operated a successful construction business in New York City for over twenty years.

He is survived by his wife and children Joseph (fiancé Jenn), Elizabeth, and Rosemarie (husband Fred) as well as sisters Susan and Antoinette (Vinny) and several nieces and nephew.
